FreeStyle Movement: Animation & Krump with Benji
Wednesdays, 8:00 – 9:00pm, Sept 16 to Oct 7 at Bella Dance

Explore freestyle movement through the contrasting qualities of animation and krump. This 4-week class focuses on developing control, musicality, texture, and emotional expression by combining the precision and illusion of animation with the groundedness and dynamic energy of krump.
Dancers will work with concepts such as isolation, waves, hits, pauses, weight shifts, contractions, grooves, and explosive movement, while exploring how these techniques can be translated into freestyle movement. The class encourages dancers to move between softness and power, stillness and explosiveness, control, and release.
